Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift

Overview Seeking well rounded Maintenance Tech to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment used in metal fabrication and steel production - welders, robotic equipment, roll forming equipment and small hand tools. Duties Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics. Determine causes of operational problems or failures. Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or components. Monitor equipment operation during the shift, addressing any issues that arise and making necessary adjustments to maintain production efficiency Follow established maintenance procedures and safety protocols to ensure safe and compliant equipment operation Participate in shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of ongoing issues, completed tasks, and any relevant updates to the incoming shift team. Qualifications Associate's degree or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 2-4 years experience preferred. Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing equipment, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing complex machinery will be advantageous. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
