00 Shift Premium Optional Saturday OT Available The Opportunity We're hiring a Maintenance Technician for a growing metal recycling operation with some of the largest and most unique equipment you'll see in an industrial environment. This is not a light manufacturing shop. You'll work around: Pre-chop, chop, shredding, and bailing systems A shredder running 21 hours per day 14 forklifts 10 skid steers 4 wheel loaders 3 yard trucks Multiple cranes Extensive conveyor systems If you enjoy working on big equipment and solving real mechanical problems, this is the kind of environment that keeps things interesting. 00/hour shift premium Saturday overtime is optional — you can work as much as you'd like Additional overtime available through special projects What You'll Be Doing This is a true 50/50 role: Reactionary Maintenance Keep production running Troubleshoot conveyors, hydraulics, heavy equipment Repair mechanical breakdowns quickly and safely Service torque bearings daily on the shredder Preventative Maintenance When production is down, nearly all time is spent on PMs Inspect, grease, service, and proactively repair equipment Identify issues before they cause downtime The priority is simple: keep production moving. Electrical troubleshooting experience (up to 480V) You'll need your own basic hand tools.
