Maintenance Technician Position Summary:

A maintenance technician is responsible for the upkeep of building, grounds, and equipment. They assist with routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting under the supervision of senior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Keep equipment running and operating safely and efficiently by maintaining and repairing machinery and mechanical equipment such as electric motors, pneumatic systems, and conveyor systems. Perform preventive and urgent maintenance of production machinery and equipment Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments Take a proactive approach to issue resolution including root cause analyses and error proofing controls related to down time Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment to perform duties Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Qualifications:

Mechanical and electrical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Previous experience troubleshooting equipment, performing preventive maintenance and repairing industrial processing equipment Organized and detail oriented

Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance related roles
