Job Description:

The Maintenance Refrigeration Technician responsibilities include performing preventative and corrective maintenance on plant refrigeration systems and utility equipment, while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, GMP, and PPE standards. This role supports continuous improvement in food safety, quality, and workplace safety, and involves maintaining various plant machinery and facilities, utilizing maintenance software, and fostering a collaborative team environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on refrigeration systems, process, and utility plant equipment.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, GMP, PPE, and Taylor Farms safety standards.
• Repair and maintain plant machinery, including pumps, piping, electrical components, tanks, and heat exchangers.
• Use preventative maintenance software and complete scheduled PMs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of plant facilities through effective housekeeping.
• Support food safety and quality initiatives, including

SQF 2000

compliance.

• Collaborate with team members and departments to maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• Follow all company policies and complete additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Requirements:

• Experience in preventative and corrective maintenance, particularly with refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of

OSHA, EPA

regulations, GMPs, and PPE procedures.

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and use maintenance software.
• Skilled in mechanical repairs, including pumps, piping, welding, and electrical components.
• Commitment to food safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to follow company policies and assume additional duties as needed.
