Maintenance Technician

Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks across multiple equipment types, ensuring safety standards are met. Assist with construction projects or upgrades related to facility maintenance, including installing new equipment or systems. Lead or support team efforts in equipment repair, system upgrades, and emergency repairs to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and system inspections for compliance and future reference. Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and air conditioning. Proven service technician experience with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams. Skilled in equipment repair, troubleshooting electrical or mechanical issues efficiently. Knowledge of construction practices related to facility maintenance or upgrades is a plus. Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate maintenance tasks effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Effective communication skills to document work accurately and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
