Job Description

Maintenance Technician
  • 3rd Shift GMP Environment 10:00 PM
  • 6:30 AM | $32
  • 37/hr.
+ 10% shift differential Excellent compensation & benefits package! A well-established pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Bethlehem, PA is hiring a skilled 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, process and utilities equipment, motors, electrical components, pipe & piping components within the plant.
Responsibilities:
Disassemble pumps, agitators, gearboxes, assemble valves, and gages Install new or repair parts to maintain equipment in a functional state Operate forklift, man lift and assorted hand tools, including grinders, drill motors, power hack and band saws, pipe threader, and torches to fabricate or repair process or building components Perform basic electrical, motor and instrumentation troubleshooting and repairs Use diagnostic techniques to troubleshoot agitators, gearboxes, and other rotating equipment to detect malfunctions or pending failure
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training/apprenticeship a plus) Minimum of 5 years industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience Computer skills in EAM/CMMS, Word Processing, Excel, Email and MS Project Ability to read mechanical drawings, P&ID"s of process equipment Mechanical/electrical background is necessary Knowledge of rigging for the removal or installation of equipment Demonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, machine and process drawings Have the ability to sketch or redline existing drawings Knowledge and understanding of maintenance processes and proper use of the work order system, planning and scheduling and storeroom processes. #MPG1
