We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our Maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and repair of various industrial machines including Mazak, Haas, Doosan, Trumpf, and Acer machinery. In addition, general building and maintenance will be handled by the Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will have the ability to troubleshoot various equipment problems while adhering to all Safety Requirements and Rules. •Pay is based on experience, $19/hr and up!!•Job Requirements:
Diagnose and repair automated CNC, PLC, and industrial PC controlled machinery including hydraulic, pneumatic, and air logic. (Haas, Mazak, Trumpf, Omax, etc) Able to wire power to machines (480v, 208v), run and bend conduit Perform necessary preventative maintenance tasks as required Effectively communicate with appropriate parties regarding machinery repair status Work on specialized automation and integration projects. (New process equipment and special machines) Perform basic plant maintenance Travel to other locations as needed for extended periods of time Ability to work weekends Keep the safety maintenance list up to date and sit in on monthly safety meetings Represent themselves, the department, and the company in a professional manner at all times Demonstrate necessary precautions when handling hazardous materials and dangerous equipmentRequired Knowledge and Skills:
Experience with Mazak, Haas, Doosan, Trumpf punch machinery, and Acer's Strong working knowledge of Three Phase and Single Phase electrical systems Basic knowledge of 240/120 volt electrical systems Experienced in troubleshooting electrical and electronic components, circuits and reading electrical ladder diagrams Experienced in machine repairs such as bearing replacement, ball screws, and general mechanical repairs High mechanical aptitude in diagnostics troubleshooting machine breakdowns Experienced in troubleshooting and repairing Hydraulic and Pneumatic valves, cylinders, and general relating components Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, Power Point Ability to navigate through computer programs generating files, folders, emailing, and scanning information to multiple contacts if required Good working knowledge of all hand tools associated with maintenance functions and responsibilities General to light carpentry experience General knowledge and experience driving Tow Motors, Platform lifts Experience in different types of welding and cutting equipment such as Mig, Oxygen, Acetylene, and Plasma Experience with troubleshooting and working on CNC wiring.Physical Requirements:
Requires frequent standing and walking for eight or more hours per day. Requires bending, squatting and climbing. Ability to work off of ladders or scaffolding. Ability to lift up to 50lbs. Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals requiring special clothing and/or personal protective equipment. Ability to perform duties outside in varying conditions including both heat and cold. Ability to work in an indoor environment without air conditioning.
