Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining plant equipment and facilities to ensure they remain in optimum operating condition. This role involves performing scheduled preventative maintenance and addressing emergency breakdowns to support plant operations. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, and repositioning components. Observe operations, vibrations, and noise levels to ensure machinery operates efficiently. Conduct emergency and breakdown maintenance as needed. Reference equipment manuals and other technical literature to guide repairs and maintenance. Execute electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system repairs, and installations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to perform job duties with or without accommodation. Accurate use of various measuring devices. Well-rounded electrical, mechanical, and machine shop skills. Ability to learn, follow instructions, and work effectively as a team member. Why Work Here? It is a non-climate controlled environment, experiencing warm temperatures in spring and summer and cooler temperatures in fall and winter. The maintenance team consists of 8 technicians working in pairs, combining mechanical and electrical expertise. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Lizton, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $69000.00 - $72000.00/yr.
