Maintenance Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maintenance of a variety of equipment and systems across our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and reliable environment by performing repairs, troubleshooting issues, and conducting preventative maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, electrical panels, plumbing, and other building systems to ensure continuous operation. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and appliance issues using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct appliance repairs and service technician tasks efficiently to minimize downtime. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to diagnose system faults accurately. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during construction or major repair projects to ensure safety standards are met. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to restore critical systems swiftly. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration), and equipment repair. Proven service technician experience with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for accurate diagnostics. Knowledge of HVAC systems, air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and related mechanical components. Ability to read construction plans and work effectively within construction or renovation environments. Leadership qualities with experience supervising or mentoring team members during maintenance projects. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges. Pay:

$26.80 - $32.28 per hour
