Maintenance Technician

•A rent-free apartment is offered with the position.•Part-Time Maintenance Technician (20 hrs per week) needed to provide maintenance for an apartment complex located in Mer Rouge, LA. The Maintenance Technician performs jobs including, but not limited to, janitorial tasks, preventative maintenance, repairs, and unit turnovers; performs a variety of semi-skilled and skilled building trade duties, operates a variety of hand, power and shop tools; and performs related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Two years minimum experience performing general maintenance to include: plumbing, painting, basic electrical, finished carpentry, flooring, and appliance troubleshooting required. HVAC certification preferred. Must provide own tools, possess valid D.L., and have reliable transportation. Must be able to successfully pass a criminal history check. Pay & Benefits 20 hrs per week.

Work schedule:

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Off on Wednesdays and Fridays. $17.00/hr $35 per paycheck fuel reimbursement & $15 per paycheck cellphone reimbursement provided Position is eligible for paid time off and paid holidays. Uniform shirts provided.
