Maintenance Technician (AL)

Maintenance Technician (AL) Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide. We are looking for an energetic, motivated and results oriented individual to join our Maintenance Team in Pell City, Alabama.

Salary Range:

$26.40 - $38.60 hour

Qualifications:

A minimum of 2 - 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in the following areas: Electrical Controls Low and Medium AC and DC voltage Motors Instrumentation Electrical print reading Mechanical Drive Systems (V-belts, gears, chain drives, gearboxes) Bearing installation and maintenance Couplings & shaft alignment Packing and seals Lubrications Dust collectors and fans Mechanical print reading PLC aptitude PLC trouble shooting and repair Hydraulics Air Compressors Forklift and battery maintenance Docks and Overhead door maintenance Must have good verbal and written communication skills, along with good interpersonal capabilities Must be self-motivated and able to take initiative Able to work in all types of conditions (heights, cold/hot, dirty, confined space, etc.) A strong working knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (work order, purchasing and inventory) and a general knowledge of industrial electrical maintenance are preferred.
