Job Description

Seeking a reliable and skilled On-Site Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair our multifamily property. HVAC experience is preferred. This role requires hands-on work, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to resident satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repairs on apartments, common areas, and building systems. Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances. Conduct unit inspections and prepare move-ins/move-outs. Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests. Maintain work orders, logs, and inventory. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and property policies. Troubleshoot maintenance issues to identify and complete needed repairs. Review building blueprints or equipment manuals when planning repair work. Perform general repairs such as drywall patching, painting, door and fixture repairs, and other basic maintenance tasks. Assist with cleaning and overall upkeep of the property and common areas. Order and track supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance projects. Perform other related duties as assigned to support property operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Previous maintenance experience in multifamily or residential properties. HVAC experience preferred. Basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry skills. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and customer service skills. Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and follow technical instructions. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or senior maintenance workers. Basic computer skills for work order management and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to use hand tools and power tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Related experience required. HVAC certification preferred but not required.
Required Abilities:
Lift, carry, and maneuver heavy equipment and materials safely. Respond quickly to emergency maintenance situations. Multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Follow all safety procedures and property policies. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with residents, coworkers, and vendors. Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
