We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic facilities team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and maintenance of a variety of equipment and systems across our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and construction-related tasks. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other mechanical equipment to ensure efficient operation. Troubleshoot and repair appliances, HVAC/R components, air conditioning systems, and related mechanical equipment promptly and effectively. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately. Conduct equipment repairs or replacements using appropriate tools and techniques, adhering to safety standards. Assist with construction or renovation projects by providing maintenance support and ensuring compliance with specifications. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future reference. Lead small teams or coordinate with contractors during complex repairs or installations when necessary. Support emergency repairs to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity. Skills Proven experience in appliance repair, service technician roles, or similar maintenance positions. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams. Expertise in HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, air conditioning, and related mechanical systems. Familiarity with construction practices and equipment repair procedures. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently using diagnostic tools. Leadership skills to guide team members or coordinate with external contractors effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in recordkeeping and reporting. Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work, HVAC systems, and general maintenance activities.
