Maintenance Technician - Day Shift

LS is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with a strong background in electrical controls and mechanical troubleshooting for a client in Elkhart area. This is a Direct Hire position with the client. It will support position supports their mixing, extrusion, and wrap operations. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on mixers, extruders, and related equipment Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics Work with motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and temperature control systems Assist with fabrication, conduit installation, and welding as needed Document maintenance activities and follow all safety standards Qualifications 5-7 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (120/208V & 277/480V, 3‑phase) Experience with motors, motor controls, VFDs, hydraulics, and pneumatics PLC troubleshooting experience preferred Background in rubber, butyl, or plastic extrusion is a plus Must provide own tools and toolbox Schedule Monday-Thursday | 5:00 AM - 3:00 PM Overtime as needed #
