Job Title:

Maintenance Technician Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the upkeep of injection molding equipment and facility, including Toyo and Arburg injection molding presses and robotics. The role involves maintaining preventative maintenance programs on all facility equipment and keeping accurate maintenance records. Effective communication with all departments and machine operators is crucial to minimize downtime or equipment failures. Responsibilities Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of injection molding equipment and facility. Maintain preventative maintenance programs on all facility equipment. Keep and update accurate maintenance records. Communicate effectively with all departments and machine operators. Minimize downtime or equipment failures. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading blueprints. Troubleshooting skills. Experience with maintenance of hydraulics and pneumatics. Ability to perform preventive maintenance. Knowledge of plastics inspection and quality standards. Understanding of electrical systems and HVAC. Skill in PLC troubleshooting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience. Comfortable completing consistent preventative maintenance tasks. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a clean injection molding facility that includes a medical clean room and an automotive area. The quality department maintains high standards, and candidates may be required to walk the floor. Work hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on the first shift. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Elgin, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $68640.00/yr.
