Who We're Looking for We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to execute proper upkeep and maintenance of equipment, building and property at our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be reliable and detail-oriented with a working knowledge of upkeep and maintenance of various systems related to a manufacturing environment. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Plant Maintenance Manager. What you'll be doing: With the use of digital tools, your experience, and industry standards you will… Maintain property including but not limited to offices, production areas, public areas, and equipment through execution of preventive maintenance program Maintain organization's physical operations including but not limited to heating, ventilation and air conditioning, emergency generators, plumbing, water treatment, and electric systems Complete fire and safety inspections as assigned to ensure property is following all safety and sanitation policies, procedures, and regulations Gain and maintain knowledge of ventilation/air conditioning, heating, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other generally accepted maintenance skills Perform other related duties as assigned by management. Experience and Education Requirements Two to three years of related experience and/or training Computer skills required: Spreadsheet Software (Excel) Inventory Software Project Management software Word Processing software (Word) Email Software (Outlook) MMS (Maintenance Management Software) Desired Skills Two to three years of maintenance technician experience. Knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. Electrical troubleshooting ability up to 480V Working knowledge of facilities, machines, and equipment. Ability to keep track of and report on activity. Problem-solving skills. Ability to identify issues and determine repairs that are needed.
