Maintenance Technician - II Soflo Property Management - 1.0 Oakland Park, FL Job Details Full-time From $20 an hour 11 hours ago Qualifications Spanish Construction painting English Driver's License Appliance repair Full Job Description Maintenance Technician II - Multifamily Property ManagementAbout Us We are a fast-paced South Florida property management company managing a large portfolio of multifamily apartment buildings. We perform most maintenance, repairs, renovations, and unit turns in-house and are looking for a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who already has solid apartment maintenance experience and can work independently while still taking direction from supervisors and lead technicians. Responsibilities Complete apartment maintenance work orders efficiently and professionally Perform unit turns including patching, painting, trim work, vinyl flooring repairs, fixture replacement, and general punch-out work Troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and appliance repairs Assist with HVAC troubleshooting and basic repairs Install and repair doors, locks, blinds, faucets, toilets, vanities, lighting, outlets, switches, and other building components Maintain clean and organized work areas Identify property issues proactively and report larger problems to supervisors Work alongside Maintenance III technicians and grounds staff on larger projects Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed Qualifications 3+ years of apartment maintenance or related construction experience preferred Strong knowledge of: Drywall and painting Basic plumbing repairs Basic electrical troubleshooting Vinyl flooring and trim work General carpentry repairs Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Must be dependable, punctual, and able to complete tasks fully without constant follow-up Must have basic tools Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus What We're Looking For We want someone who: Takes pride in their work Notices problems and fixes them properly Works with urgency and professionalism Understands multifamily maintenance is fast-paced and detail-oriented Can communicate clearly with management and residents Wants long-term stable employment with opportunity for growth Compensation Pay based on experience and skill level Overtime opportunities available Full-time position Schedule Monday-Friday Shift hours are between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
