Maintenance Technician - Split Shift

Maintenance Technician Advertised Pay Rate:

$25.00 per hour

Split Shift:

8:00 AM to 6:30

PM General Information:

Creative Packaging is a rapidly growing, fast-paced manufacturing company who is looking for a full-time Site Technician to services the gel pack machines for our Unadilla, Georgia location. This position ensures minimal down time and works to improve efficiency of equipment. The position will include travel to our Kentucky headquarters for training. This position will report directly to the Site Manager but will include contact with the other VFFS Technicians, maintenance, and production floor positions.

Job Description:

• Preform day to day maintenance and repairs for VFFS machines for the gel packing line.
• Provide preventative care for machines and work to troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Conduct PM schedules on all equipment
• Assist in installation and removal of machines.
• Oversee spare parts inventory and ensure ample supply of parts are in inventory at all times
• Assist with production during any downtime.
• Any other task as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of packaging equipment and operations.
• Experience with liquid VFFS machines.
• Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to self-manage time and critically think.
• Basic computer experience.
