Maintenance Technician Welder/Fabricator

Gulf Stream Coach, Inc. of Nappanee Indiana has an immediate opening for a Building Maintenance Technician Welder/Fabricator We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technicians to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of the premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as: welding, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, construction, etc.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards. Perform maintenance of electrical systems (LED conversion, 480-volt 3ph knowledge). Trace electrical circuits, 3 phase and single phase, run conduit, and motor knowledge. Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality. Perform manual repairs when necessary (small tool repair, staple gun repair, change saw blades etc.). Basic welding, fabrication, and basic overhead door knowledge. Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g., landscaping, painting, carpentry etc.) and other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Proven experience as maintenance technician. Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems. Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods (Lock Out/Tag Out). Basic knowledge of CM hoist repair and Graco pump repair. Air compressor knowledge a plus. Working knowledge of tools, scissor lifts and devices. Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills, able to read and electrical schematic. Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime. Must have good driving record and good attendance.
