Maintenance Worker

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. This position requires a strong understanding of facilities maintenance, the ability to read schematics, and experience with logic controllers. The Maintenance Person will also be responsible for supervising maintenance tasks and leading small teams when necessary. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules. Fabricate parts or components as needed to support ongoing operations. Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems. Supervise maintenance personnel, providing guidance and leadership during projects. Weld components as required for repairs or fabrication tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Proficiency in working with logic controllers and understanding their operation. Strong ability to read schematics and technical drawings. Experience in welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory. Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
