Maintenance Worker

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team, responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and upkeep of our office building. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs, installing sheet rock, spackle, plumbing, etc. Duties Perform routine and preventive maintenance throughout commercial office building Troubleshoot maintenance issues Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and communicate with the management office on project status Supervise junior staff or contractors during maintenance projects when applicable Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility protocols during all maintenance activities Assist in the installation, repair, and replacement of ceiling tiles, lightbulbs, sheetrock, furniture, and other office needs Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in office/commercial environment Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and floor plans Leadership skills with supervising experience preferred for career advancement opportunities Excellent communication skills Knowledge of safety procedures This position offers an engaging environment where technical expertise is valued, providing opportunities for professional growth within the facilities maintenance field.
