Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations across our retail or service environment. This role is vital in driving sales, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, and maintaining operational excellence. As a Manager, you will be responsible for fostering a positive team culture, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the store or department runs smoothly and efficiently. Your leadership will inspire team members to achieve their best while delivering outstanding experiences to our customers. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily store or department operations, ensuring all activities align with company standards and policies. Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, providing comprehensive training and development opportunities. Manage employee scheduling, and shift management to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales potential. Implement effective sales management techniques, including retail math, upselling, and customer engagement strategies. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and team meetings to foster a motivated and skilled workforce. Oversee cash handling procedures, POS transactions, cashiering activities, and store security protocols. Coordinate marketing efforts and promotional activities to boost store visibility and sales growth. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, bookkeeping practices, and organizational policies. Experience Proven management experience in retail or a similar customer-focused environment with supervisory responsibilities. Strong background in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development. Demonstrated skills in negotiation, sales management, inventory control, merchandising, and budgeting. Experience with POS systems, purchasing processes, payroll administration, bookkeeping, and cash handling is essential. Excellent communication skills coupled with organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
