Job Description

The position will be a client driven (national nursing and health care organization) position which will oversee the visual and creative aspects of publications, both physical and digital, that encompass journals, newsletters, textbooks, exhibit prospectuses and registration material. The position will also work on behalf of AJJ, Inc to build creative, integrated marketing plans that enhance brand awareness and reputation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Design Oversee the visual style and imagery of the project to maintain brand consistency. Coordinate and oversee production process, print and or digital process. Ensures a cohesive and visually compelling projects building on the association's brand. Collaborate with the production team to align artistic vision with practical execution. Manage and guide Creative Design staff. Coordinate with other departments, such as editorial and sales, for a unified aesthetic and ensure project aligns with the brand's vision. Review and approve all artwork and designs to ensure quality, adherence to vision, use of best practice, and developed in a cost-effective timely manner. Provide quotes for Creative Design production time and printing. Distribute monthly invoices. Key communicator with 3rd party vendors related to publications. Coordinates and oversees publication storage (including deliveries on demand). Marketing Will be involved in the development and layout of marketing materials including but not limited to promotional brochures, newsletters, and direct mail pieces. The candidate will be guided by association directors and leadership to create strategic messaging, develop and execute prioritized campaigns. This effective messaging for clients will be used to increase membership and participation in educational offerings and sales of proprietary products. Assist AJJ, Inc with new business development and corporate marketing strategies. They will also have to track and analyze results which entails managing marketing analytical data for web, email, social media and print. Will look for opportunities for cross-promotion and write, edit, and support strong promotional copy and targeted/ marketing messages for segments of messaging campaigns. Vital to this position will be to incorporate the use of marketing automation, landing pages and automation functions to deliver targeted messaging, content and offers to members, prospects, partners and other constituencies. Will be involved in the development and layout of marketing materials including but not limited to promotional brochures, newsletters, and direct mail pieces.
QUALIFICATIONS
A degree in design with business or marketing/communication or related field. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience. Ability to delegate and manage various projects. Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products, and experience in QuarkXPress and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator preferred. Strong writing, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Ability to communicate with a wide range of people within the larger AJJ, Inc. corporate structure and outside the organization. Strong project management experience, handling changing priorities and deadlines Ability to work in fast-paced environment. Exceptional proofreading and editing skills, with demonstrated success ensuring high-volume content is accurate, professional, and free of grammatical, spelling, and formatting errors.
