Since its inception, The Center has provided a welcoming space that fosters inclusion, empowerment, and community connection through various programs and services. Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and operationally driven Manager of Clinical Operations & Wellness Services to lead the day-to-day delivery of our sexual health clinic and integrated wellness programming. This is a 100% on-site, "player-coach" leadership role responsible for managing clinic workflows, supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance (including 340B program integration), and directly supporting service delivery when needed. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in public health or clinical operations, demonstrated supervisory experience, and a strong understanding of HIV/STI services and community-based care. This position is based in Wilton Manors, FL, and requires a hands-on leader who can balance operational oversight with direct engagement in services and outreach. This position will require scheduling flexibility including evenings and weekends. Duties Manage daily operations of the sexual health clinic, including workflow coordination, scheduling, and service integration across HIV/STI testing, STI treatment, vaccinations, and PrEP/PEP navigation. Oversee clinic workflows to ensure efficient patient flow, access to services, and continuity of care. Supervise clinic staff, including testing personnel, patient navigators, outreach staff, interns, and volunteers, while providing direct service delivery as needed to maintain continuity of operations. Ensure adherence to medical clinical protocols, program standards, and regulatory requirements, includingHRSA 340B
compliance at the point of care. Manage implementation of 340B-related workflows within clinic operations, supporting patient eligibility processes, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness. Coordinate with internal leadership and external partners (e.g., pharmacy, TPA, EMR, providers) to support compliant and efficient service delivery. Lead outreach strategy and execution, including planning and participating in community-based events to drive access, utilization, and retention in care. Develop and maintain community partnerships to expand service reach and strengthen engagement with priority populations. Monitor operational performance, including service utilization, linkage outcomes, and engagement metrics; participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) processes. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of services, outreach activities, and client interactions in alignment with reporting requirements. Serve as primary point of escalation for clinic-related operational issues and coordinate solutions across teams. Represent the organization at community events, coalitions, and stakeholder meetings as needed. Manage operational relationships with key external vendors, including pharmaceutical wholesalers, contract pharmacy partners, and laboratory providers (e.g., Quest Diagnostics and LabCorp), ensuring account setup, service continuity, and issue resolution. Oversee electronic health record (EHR) system functionality (e.g., eClinicalWorks), including workflow configuration, troubleshooting, and alignment with clinical and operational needs. Develop and deliver structured training to staff and navigators on core service areas, including benefits navigation, PrEP/PEP enrollment workflows, and client recruitment and retention strategies. Ensure operational integration between clinical services, navigation, and outreach efforts, aligning workflows to support engagement, adherence, and continuity of care. Monitor and address operational gaps in real time, including vendor issues, system inefficiencies, and barriers to patient access or retention.Requirements Education:
Master's degree in public health, healthcare administration, pharmaceutical services, or related field strongly preferred. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a similar field must demonstrate advanced direct experience in clinical operations and healthcare management that reflects graduate-level competency.Experience:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in HIV/STI services, sexual health, or clinical healthcare settings, including direct experience working within a medical clinic or patient-care environment. Experience must include responsibility for day-to-day operations, not solely program support roles.Supervision:
Proven experience supervising staff, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.Clinical & Program Knowledge:
Strong understanding of HIV/STI testing, PrEP/PEP services, linkage to care, insurance navigation, and community engagement strategies.Operations & Compliance:
Ability to manage clinic workflows, ensure service quality, and maintain compliance with regulatory and program standards. Familiarity with 340B program operations is preferred.Direct Service Capability:
Willingness and ability to deliver direct services (e.g., testing, outreach, navigation) as needed in a hands-on operational role.Certifications:
Florida HIV testing certification (500/501), Certified Community Health Worker (CHW), or phlebotomy training preferred or ability to obtain.Skills:
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Readiness :
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to assume full operational responsibility for clinic and wellness services with minimal onboarding, including independent decision-making across staffing, service delivery, and community engagement functions.Operational Systems & Implementation Experience :
Candidates must demonstrate hands-on experience supporting or managing healthcare operational systems, including coordination with external vendors, and training and onboarding staff.Program Integration:
Experience integrating clinical services, patient navigation, and outreach into a cohesive service delivery model strongly preferred.Location:
Ability to work on-site daily at our Wilton Manors campus.Hours :
Position requires a high degree of flexibility with frequent evening and Saturday hours requiredLevel II Florida AHCA Background Screening:
Candidates must successfully pass a fingerprint-based Level II background check as a condition of employment.
