Manufacturing Associate - Onsite

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Holly Springs, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. In this vital role, you will support all floor operations for the manufacturing of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) drug substance. You will be completing hands-on operations in the Services area, adhering to established procedures and policies with a strict focus on safety and compliance. The initial schedule will be Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday, 10-hour days, transitioning to rotating 12-hour shifts as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities:

Complete work in accordance with established cGMP procedures and policies (SOPs, MPs, JHAs, CFR) with strict adherence to safety and compliance Ensure proper gowning and aseptic techniques are always followed Perform hands-on operation including set-up, cleaning, sanitization, and monitoring of equipment and assigned area Prepare and transfer buffer and media Weigh and dispense materials to be used in the preparation of Buffers and Medias Complete washroom activities, including cleaning small to large scale equipment Run and monitor critical processes per assigned procedures Perform documentation for assigned functions (i.e., equipment logs, EBRs) Maintain an organized, clean, and workable space

Requirements:

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of work experience OR Associate's degree with 6 months of work experience OR Bachelor's degree Experience in a regulated industry such as biotechnology or pharmaceutical Basic understanding of GMP principles Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Desired skills: Completion of NC BioWorks Certificate Program Knowledge of other electronic systems such as EBR/MES, Delta V, and Electronic Quality Systems Ability to perform assignments with a high degree of focus and attention to detail Pay range: up to $22.13 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) employees will be considered for this position.
