May prepare complicated plans, conduct support studies, and provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations. May assign work to drafters and/or technicians and provide guidance to lower level engineers.
Responsibilities:
Perform moderately complex functions in the design, fabrication, modification and/or evaluation of manufacturing operations. May prepare complicated plans, conduct support studies, provide analysis or tests in the development of manufacturing operations. May assign work to drafters and/or technicians and provide guidance to lower level engineers Responsibilities are diverse in scope where analysis of situations or data requires sound judgment General guidance given on new assignments as needed Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization Ensure companywide electrostatic discharge (ESD) compliance by taking field measurements at workstations. Have a working knowledge of 5S principles and apply them to the manufacturing areas. Develop clear and concise work instructions as a guide for entry level technicians and specialists. Have experience with J-STD-001 and/or IPC-620 requirements with the end goal of becoming a certified trainer. Assist the Facilities and Production Teams with occasional product assembly and maintenance tasks requiring multiple people. Manage an inventory of ESD control items and production tools.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field with 0+ years applicable engineering experience. Professional Competencies would be Developing Eight+ years of applicable experience is an acceptable alternative to a bachelor's degree. Specialties may include production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, and robotics Mechanical aptitude Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
