Job Description

Aerospace manufacturing engineer responsible for developing and improving production processes, resolving manufacturability issues, and supporting process control across machining, heat treating, chemical processing, and finishing operations. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience Aerospace manufacturing experience Exposure to machining, heat treating, chemical processing, and/or painting Experience designing and developing new or revised manufacturing processes Experience developing procedures in coordination with quality and production teams Experience conducting tests and measurements throughout production to monitor and control process variables Experience troubleshooting and resolving production process or equipment issues Experience supporting manufacturability issue resolution with internal stakeholders and external customers Preferred Skills Experience recommending tools and test equipment Experience evaluating and recommending new manufacturing technologies, equipment, and materials Experience supporting complex aerospace production environments Job Responsibilities Design and develop manufacturing processes for aerospace products Improve and revise existing production processes as needed Develop manufacturing procedures in cooperation with quality and production departments Conduct tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over applicable variables Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues in active production Recommend tools and test equipment to support manufacturing operations Evaluate and recommend new technological equipment and materials Communicate with internal stakeholders and external customers to identify, manage, and resolve manufacturability issues
