Pay Range for this position is: $70,000-$90,000 plus annual bonus, depending on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Manufacturing Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial performance, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and providing insights to improve cost efficiency and operational profitability within manufacturing operations. This role reports to the Director, Supply Chain and Operations FP&A, and partners closely with production, supply chain, and manufacturing leadership teams. This position is based out of our Seabrook, NJ location Primary Responsibilities include: Analyze manufacturing costs including labor, materials, and overhead Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning Monitor and report on variances (actual vs. budget/forecast), identifying key drivers and recommending corrective actions. Partner with operations to evaluate production efficiency and KPIs Assist in inventory analysis, including valuation and turnover Support standard cost development and updates Perform profitability analysis by product line, plant, or customer Maintain and analyze standard costs, including labor, overhead, and material cost components Evaluate manufacturing cost performance, including scrap, yield, absorption, and production variances Partner with operations to evaluate production efficiency, capacity utilization, and cost-saving opportunities Conduct financial modeling to support business decisions and capital expenditure (Capex) projects, including ROI, NPV, and payback analysis Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field 2-5+ years of experience in financial analysis, cost accounting, or manufacturing finance Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred Additional Preferred Qualifications Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing processes Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, modeling) Experience with ERP systems, preferably QAD Understanding of financial statements and variance analysis Strong communication skills to translate financial data into business insights Attention to detail and accuracy

FREQUENT
