Manufacturing - Furnace Operator

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Furnace Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will operate, load, and unload industrial furnaces used in metal powder reduction and mineral powder induction and arc melting. You will ensure the safe, efficient, and precise reduction, melting, and packing of materials, supporting high-quality production standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for growth as your starting wage increases as you master each level of your training through our tiering system Duties 12 Hour Shift - 12PM to 12AM (36hrs one week and 48 hours other week, 84hrs total every two weeks, paid bi-weekly) Work Only 7 Days every 2 weeks!!!

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Operating and taking furnace readings and fill out production reports Operate crushing equipment to resize and pack material Operate fork trucks to move pallets, molds and material sacks (after in-house training) Apply proper labels to finished goods Perform safety and quality checks during their shift Mild housekeeping and general plant cleanliness Use hand trucks to move 15 gallon and 55 gallon drums Operate a variety of furnaces to produce company products

Requirements:

Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) Must be able to work overtime as needed High School Diploma or GED, preferred At least one year of previous work experience in manufacturing facility, preferred Driver's license required, No Exceptions Additional information: Only online applications are accepted Preemployment background screening will be conducted on qualified applicants after acceptance of the job We are a fair-chance employer and encourage individuals with criminal histories to apply.
