if you are dependable, a team player, and would enjoy the satisfaction of operating machines to produce quality lumber. The Manufacturing Lumber Machine Operator is a full-time position. You will be scheduled to work four out of five days Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and perform the essential duties and responsibilities that include: Set-up and operate machines. Make setting adjustments. Maintain machines. Change knives and chains. Follow production work orders. Monitor lumber for defects. Clean-up work area and surroundings. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Qualifications High school diploma/equivalent. Proven record to be consistently at work and punctual for scheduled shifts. Prefer, but not required, at least six months' experience and/or training in manufacturing machine operations. Mechanical aptitude, knowledge and use of hand tools, power tools, and tape measure. Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
