Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance and repair of plant and production equipment. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring all machinery operates efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical knowledge and is comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain proficiency in assigned departments and areas of specialization (e.g., production, PLC/electrical systems).
  • Maintain and repair plant and facility equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine equipment inspections.
  • Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, and perform necessary adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Operate material handling equipment and other powered machinery as needed.
  • Follow and enforce Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) safety procedures at all times.
  • Perform breakdown analysis to prevent recurring issues.
  • Repair production equipment and support continuous operations.
  • Assist in upgrading production lines with new equipment and technology.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment (housekeeping).
  • Report all injuries and safety incidents immediately to management.
  • Work overtime, weekends, or on-call shifts as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications
  • Basic working knowledge of: o Mechanical repair o 3-phase electrical systems and controls o Hydraulics and pneumatics o Plumbing o Welding
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Work Environment
  • Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and noise.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Required use of PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hard hats.
  • Loose clothing and jewelry are not permitted for safety reasons
