  • Looking to hire immediately Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team.
The successful candidate will assist operators in the production process, ensuring that all materials meet specified standards. Additionally, the role involves using a sit-down forklift to stage materials approximately 10% of the time. Responsibilities Assist operators in the production of materials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Monitor production processes to ensure materials meet specifications. Perform quality checks and document results. Use a sit-down forklift to stage materials as needed (approximately 10% of the time). Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety protocols and procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Report any issues or discrepancies to operators or management. Essential Skills Manufacturing/Production Experience. Ability to learn and adapt quickly after training and follow SOPs. Good attendance and ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts. Sit down forklift experience. Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Good communication skills and ability to work in a team. Physical ability to perform manual labor and operate machinery. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
