Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Manufacturing Plant Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of plant management, including production, quality control, supply chain coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, optimize manufacturing processes, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products in a safe and efficient environment. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute significantly to the company's growth and success. Duties Oversee daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining safety and quality standards. Develop and implement production plans utilizing ERP systems such as SAP and MRP modules to optimize resource utilization. Lead continuous improvement initiatives employing Lean manufacturing principles to enhance process efficiency and reduce waste. Manage supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, leveraging supply chain analytics for decision-making. Monitor key performance indicators related to production management, quality control, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, improve product assembly workflows, and implement process improvements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies across the plant. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation among staff members. Conduct regular reviews of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure optimal plant performance. Support training programs focused on manufacturing best practices, ERP system usage, and process optimization. Skills Extensive experience in production management within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent enterprise resource planning software. Strong knowledge of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for effective production planning. Expertise in lean manufacturing methodologies and continuous process improvement techniques. Solid understanding of supply chain management principles and supply chain analytics. Mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Proven ability to lead operations management initiatives with a focus on quality control and process optimization. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster collaboration. Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making in supply chain and operations contexts. Effective communication skills to coordinate with diverse stakeholders across departments. This role is integral to maintaining our commitment to operational excellence while fostering innovation within our manufacturing processes.
