Manufacturing Process Engineer - Electronics Elgin, IL | On-Site | Direct Hire | $80,000 - $100,000 About the Opportunity We are working with a well-established global manufacturer in Elgin, IL to find a hands-on Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is a floor-level, cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of engineering, quality, and production. You will serve as the primary technical liaison on the production floor - troubleshooting assembly and test issues, driving process improvements, writing work instructions, and supporting CAPA and RCA actions. This is a high-visibility role with strong long-term growth potential at a company known for innovation and technical collaboration. What You'll Be Doing Serve as the primary technical liaison on the production floor for assembly, test, and process issues Drive RCA, CAPA, and MRB actions to resolution Create and maintain detailed manufacturing work instructions Implement Lean/Six Sigma process improvements Collaborate with Engineering on manufacturability feedback Develop and maintain fixtures and testing setups Support

quality system compliance What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering 4+ years of experience in electronics assembly or manufacturing Strong electronics knowledge and hands-on troubleshooting ability ISO 9001 and

CAPA/RCA
