OF THE JOB
The Manufacturing Production Manager is a high-impact leadership role at our Ocala, Florida manufacturing plant, responsible for driving excellence in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement. This is a hands-on manufacturing leadership position within a medium-sized, 24/7 operation featuring 20+ production lines, four production supervisors, and approximately 70 hourly manufacturing employees. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on the plant floor, enjoys developing frontline talent, and knows how to translate strategy into consistent production results. With continued growth and an exciting transition to a brand-new manufacturing facility planned for Fall 2026, this position offers a unique opportunity to help shape the future of the site and influence how the next generation of manufacturing operations is built. The Manufacturing Production Manager is accountable for multi-shift production performance, building and sustaining a strong safety-first culture, and developing high-performing teams that deliver safe, high-quality products at the lowest possible cost. Success in this role requires strong leadership presence, the ability to lead through change, and close collaboration across functions to ensure compliance with plant and corporate standards. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and oversee multi-shift manufacturing production operations in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment Build, coach, and develop four production supervisors, strengthening frontline leadership capability Foster a safety-first manufacturing culture, ensuring consistent compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements Drive performance across safety, quality, cost, productivity, and employee engagement metrics Engage and motivate approximately 70 hourly manufacturing employees across 20+ operating lines Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize processes, reduce waste, and improve throughput Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and HR partners Play a key role in site growth initiatives, including preparation for the transition to a new facility in Fall 2026 JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure Product Quality:
Partner with peers, product engineers, and technical teams to clearly understand customers fit for use and constantly meet/exceed customer expectations. Investing in the growth and development of individuals identified as high potential talent Establishing clear and measurable expectations of performance and review commitments to ensure goals are achieved; completing performance appraisals and coaching employees to develop and execute growth and development plans Creating, monitoring and enforcing plant policies in a consistent manner to ensure a positive employee environment Actively leading and building work teams and committees to improve plant performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives Participate in equipment modifications and improvement projects to improve safety, housekeeping, product quality, productivity and equipment reliability Provide proactive leadership through interactive GEMBA walks to develop connection, identify opportunities, and implement solutions Executing Strategy and Directing Operations Determining organizational objectives and priorities in support of the Plants strategy and vision, and for developing teams to deliver results Support of these objectives and priorities; leaving daily tactical direction to Front Line Leaders/ Operations Specialist Establishing a lean culture through TPM and other methodologies Facilitating process improvements through people deployment, productivity enhancements, high performance work teams and being a model for change Assess, develop, and manage both the salary and hourly talent on the Operations team. Coach direct reports to drive performance and accountability in a manner that will garner them credibility and respect. Establish and sustain standards of performance across all shifts.
Work Collaboratively Across Departments and Functions:
Partner with peers, site resources, and functional support to gain an in-depth understanding of all aspects of the plants processes, and then work together to achieve the plants goals and objectives. Embrace the Role of a Change Agent Leading the Operations Team to implement the business plan Identify areas where change is needed, articulate a case for why the change is necessary, align the team on a proactive and strategic change plan, and lead the execution of that plan. Being a driver/ change agent Develop mutually beneficial partnerships with primary workforce continuously improving employee engagement Ensure coordinated communication and direction across all shifts and through leadership
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
: Bachelors Degree in Operations, Business, or engineering, preferred 5-7 years manufacturing leadership experience or equivalent applicable experience Manufacturing background is mandatory 18 years or older due to hazardous occupation
PREFERREDEXPERIENCE
: Demonstrated ability as an Manufacturing Production Manager Experience with TPM deployment and sustainment Able to teach and communicate in simple, impactful terms Experience with continuous improvementmethodologies Experience ramping up production at a manufacturing facility Can think strategically, execute a chosen direction and deliver results Due to the nature of the job, Bilingual in Spanish preferred not required
