Job Description

Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Manufacturing Scheduler to join our manufacturing team. In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the seamless flow of production activities, ensuring that manufacturing processes are optimized for efficiency, quality, and timely delivery. Your expertise in supply chain management, demand planning, and production scheduling will drive operational excellence and support our commitment to delivering top-tier products to our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence production workflows and contribute to a high-performance manufacturing environment. Duties Prepare daily and weekly production schedules based on customer demand and production plans. Create and print Travelers (jobs) to the shop floor and ensure proper sequencing of operations Monitor schedule adherence and recovery actions and communication with Planning and Customer Service Track work-in-progress (WIP) and ensure smooth flow of materials between processes Coordinate with production supervisors and operators to execute the schedule effectively Ensure availability of raw materials, components, tools, and manpower before production starts Coordinate with Supervisors on machine breakdowns and planned maintenance activities Work closely with Quality to manage inspections, rework, and hold materials
Requirements Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, college preference but not required.
Experience:
1-5 years of experience in production control, scheduling, or shop-floor planning in a manufacturing environment
Skills & Competencies:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and routing Experience with production scheduling and capacity planning Knowledge of
ERP / MRP
systems and MS Excel Good analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, shop-floor environment Good communication skills and attention to detail
Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour
