About the Role This role is responsible for supporting and executing the production planning and scheduling functions for the facility. It requires a strong understanding of the production process, plant procedures, equipment capabilities, and the flow of goods throughout the operation. In addition to supporting daily planning activities, the role also develops, prepares, and maintains detailed production schedules to ensure efficient manufacturing, on time delivery, and effective coordination across departments for industrial or commercial products. What You'll Do Production Planning & Scheduling Develops weekly production schedules that establish the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet customer order deadlines and shipping commitments. Plans and schedules workflow for each department according to established manufacturing sequences and standard lead times. Determines the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and related manufacturing operations to guide production teams. Modifies the production plan in response to changing customer demands or shifting priorities. Initiates and coordinates off‑site production as required by MRP. Capacity Planning & Resource Management Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data, performing required calculations to identify manufacturing processes, tooling requirements, and staffing needs. Conducts capacity planning activities for assigned departments to ensure alignment between production demand and available resources. Identifies potential bottlenecks and recommends adjustments to maintain efficient workflow. Materials Planning & Inventory Support Computes required material quantities for scheduled orders and notifies Purchasing of shortages or potential supply risks. Monitors material availability to ensure alignment with production requirements and delivery schedules. Communication, Collaboration & Coordination Works closely with department supervisors to gather updates, verify schedule progress, and assess project status. Expedites operations that may delay production schedules and proactively adjust plans to address unexpected conditions. Prepares and distributes production reports to ensure visibility across departments and support decision‑making. Safety, Quality & Compliance Maintains awareness of and adherence to all quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies. Reports on all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel promptly. Supports a culture of safe work practices and continuous improvement within the production environment. Teamwork & Continuous Improvement Works collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to support efficient production flow and timely issue resolution. Participates in identifying opportunities to improve scheduling accuracy, reduce delays, and streamline production processes. Contributes positively to team objectives and maintains professional working relationships across departments. Additional Expectations Remain compliant with the Code of Conduct and Policies which includes the Kingspan Group Compliance Policy. Ensure that all duties related to product compliance are adhered to in accordance with the Product Compliance Policy, Laws, Regulations, and market demands. Responsible for all tasks to achieve compliance goals and demands of the Compliance Management System. Must raise concerns related to the Compliance Management System to their supervisor, manager, or any member of the Leadership Team, or through the confidential whistle blower service. This role will require working long hours and weekends to meet production schedules and company activities (i.e.: recording inventory). What You'll Bring High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate degree or higher in a business or technical discipline is preferred. Previous experience in a production scheduling or similar planning role within a manufacturing environment required. Strong proficiency in database entry and computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage, prioritize, and follow through on multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with MRP/ERP systems preferred but not required Employee Benefits Pay range: $70,000-$80,000/yr.Career Scope and Advancement:
