Hourly Job Shift Third Description Job Purpose:
- The Manufacturing Tech II at PRINSCO is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Conduct quality checks and inspections on products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and productivity.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Document and report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members to ensure a high level of competency within the team.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing manufacturing processes.
Qualifications Required Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An associate degree in manufacturing technology or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience with operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
- Proven track record of adhering to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with manufacturing software and data entry.
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed to meet production demands.
