Hourly Job Shift Third Description Job Purpose:
  • The Manufacturing Tech II at PRINSCO is responsible for supporting the manufacturing process by operating and maintaining production equipment, ensuring quality control, and adhering to safety standards.
This role plays a crucial part in optimizing production efficiency and contributing to the overall success of the manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing processes.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections on products to ensure compliance with company standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements for increased efficiency and productivity.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Document and report any equipment malfunctions, quality issues, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new team members to ensure a high level of competency within the team.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas for enhancing manufacturing processes.
Qualifications Required Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • An associate degree in manufacturing technology or a related field is preferred.
Required Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience with operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
  • Proven track record of adhering to safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.
Required Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with manufacturing software and data entry.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed to meet production demands.
