Manufacturing Technician: Several different schedules $28 - $31

Position Description With your technical expertise, you'll be the go-to person for troubleshooting and repairing production equipment in your area. You'll also be responsible for setting up various production machines to ensure top-notch quality products are manufactured You will do this by: Maintaining mechanical, electrical and hydraulics systems for a variety of equipment Perform various operations to alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, jigs, gauges and guarding Troubleshoots and repairs equipment; performs preventative maintenance Responsible for statistical process charting, interpretation, and trend-analysis in order to perform process or equipment adjustments to bring parts into specification Performs other duties as assigned You are the kind of person who is/has: Intermediate troubleshooting skills using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic knowledge Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location A team player mindset Enjoys a challenge Great interpersonal skills and communication skills Proficient Computer skills Experience Requirements Minimum of 1.5 years' relevant working experience to include; Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic skills Industrial setting preferred Why Briggs? This Department is dirtier and not climate controlled because of the nature of the product being produced. Meaning, when it is hot outside, it is hot inside & when it is cold outside, it is cold inside. This department tends to work more overtime than other departments and is a little more physically demanding. This department requires leather only steel/composite toe boots and cotton only clothing.
