Basic Function/Definition Essential Duties Minimum Qualifications Possession of a Bachelor's degree, or equivalent foreign degree, plus two years of recent verifiable professional work experience using both manual drafting and computer-assisted drawing and design (CADD) to create various types of design and detailed working drawings. OR Possession of an Associate degree, or equivalent foreign degree, plus six years of recent verifiable professional work experience using both manual drafting and computer-assisted drawing and design (CADD) to create various types of design and detailed working drawings directly related to the faculty member's assignment. OR A valid California Community College Credential authorizing service in the appropriate subject matter AND Demonstrated knowledge of specific discipline, knowledge of instructional needs of community college students AND Ability to relate well with peers and other co-workers; to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and to be flexible in a changing environment AND Demonstrate a sensitivity to, and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Equivalencies None Responsibilities Foreign Degrees Any degree from a country other than the United States, including Canada and Great Britain, must be evaluated by an Evaluation Service prior to the closing date. Certification must be attached with copies of transcripts.
