Position Summary We are seeking a Field Manager Assistant to support our Field Manager in overseeing cabinet installations on residential and multifamily construction projects throughout the Pensacola area. This is a hands-on field position responsible for inspecting installations, identifying quality concerns, coordinating with installers and builders, and helping ensure projects are completed on schedule and to Gulf Coast Cabinetry's standards. The ideal candidate has previous experience in cabinetry, finish carpentry, or residential construction and has an eye for detail. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in the field and wants to grow into a Field Manager role. Responsibilities Perform quality control inspections on cabinet installations. Identify installation issues and coordinate corrective action with installers. Assist with punch lists and warranty items. Communicate professionally with builders, superintendents, installers, and homeowners. Verify cabinet layouts, appliance openings, fillers, trim, moldings, and overall installation quality. Document jobsite conditions using photos and reports. Visit multiple jobsites each day throughout the coastal Alabama and Florida market. Assist with scheduling and monitoring installation progress. Ensure projects meet company quality standards before completion. Represent Gulf Coast Cabinetry professionally on every jobsite. QualificationsRequired Experience installing cabinets, finish carpentry, or residential construction. Strong understanding of cabinet installation methods and quality standards. Ability to read cabinet layouts, elevations, and construction plans. Excellent attention to detail. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Comfortable working independently while managing multiple projects. Preferred Experience working with production home builders. Experience in multifamily construction. Basic computer and smartphone proficiency for documentation and communication.
