Job Description

Cabinet Installer & Shop Assistant We manufacture and install custom cabinets and are seeking a skilled cabinet builder to join our team. Bob's Cabinets & More has been serving the local community for over 25 years and is the premier cabinet company in Lake Havasu City. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of previous cabinet building experience including framed and frameless cabinetry. Experience in laminated tops and solid surfaces along with cabinet installation are all pluses. This position will also include delivery products from our shop to our customer locations.

All tools provided. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform installation and maintenance tasks according to project and schedule specifications while ensuring our high standards of quality are maintained.
  • Review and interpret layouts, diagrams, technical drawings, verbal instructions, and other project documentation.
  • Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and installation.
  • Install various components such as cabinets, countertops, knobs, handles, closet systems, and storage cabinets.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
  • Conduct repair work as needed.
  • Load, transport, and deliver cabinets and materials to customers and job sites in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure items are securely loaded to prevent damage during transit and during delivery.
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes as directed.
  • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure cleanliness.
  • Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
  • Receive and organize deliveries of materials and hardware.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
  • Help with packing and labeling finished products for delivery.
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and instructions from management.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned. Work and Experience Qualifications
REQUIRED
  • 3 to 5 years of previous experience in frameless and/or framed cabinetry building.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting plans.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks and endure extreme heat such as 100+ degree weather.

  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities as determined by the hiring manager.
