POSITION
Experienced Custom Cabinet Installer TYPE:
Full Time, minimum 40 hours per week As a leader in the industry, Oak Ridge Cabinets is looking for experienced full-time Custom Cabinet Installers who can help us maintain the highest level of excellence, standards, and craftsmanship we have provided throughout northern California for the past 35+ years. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The installer position is responsible for delivering, unloading, and successfully installing all cabinets from start to finish within time constraints to meet specific timelines scheduled for each job. Ensure work is completed as requested by the customer, field supervisor, or contractor and to the company's high-quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized installation workspace Adhere to all safety procedures and practices including drug-free workplace policy Perform production work in the shop under the supervision of the Shop Foreman between installs or as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for experienced installers with the following qualifications: Knowledge and experience with all aspects of custom cabinet installation Concrete understanding of construction documents including floor plans, elevations, details, assembly sheets specifications. Should be capable of developing and executing installation strategy Accurately read a tape measure Experience driving a truck with a 25-foot-long trailer Lift materials that could weigh in excess of 50 pounds, either alone, with assistance, or using mechanical assistance such as rolling carts, cabinet lifter, etc. Work within a team or independently, as needed Be proactive, punctual, reliable and responsible Have a good attitude and work ethic, work well with others or alone
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and experience with all aspects of custom cabinet installation Demonstrated accuracy reading a tape measure A current California Driver's License and clean driving record Available to work overtime and weekends, and occasional out-of-town overnight travel when requested Reliable transportation Pass a mandatory pre-employment drug test
