Job Description

ABOUT WEST WOOD
West Wood Manufacturing has been crafting premium custom cabinetry and architectural millwork for the Bradenton/Sarasota luxury market since 1998. We build everything in-house — from design through fabrication — and our installers are the last hands on every project. You represent the quality of everything the shop has produced. We're looking for a skilled installer who takes pride in their work, communicates professionally with clients, and holds themselves to a high standard on every job site.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Execute complete cabinet installations from layout through final adjustment — level, plumb, and scribed to fit without relying on scribe molding Install crown molding, light valances, hardware, and hardwood countertops Read and interpret shop drawings, field notes, and blueprints accurately Communicate professionally with homeowners and general contractors/project managers on-site Manage your own time across multiple active jobs; prioritize and problem-solve independently Complete punch work, warranty work, and touch-ups to close out jobs cleanly Leave every job site cleaner than you found it This is primarily a field role — you'll work independently across active job sites in the Manatee/Sarasota County area, with occasional shop time as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Proven custom cabinet installation experience Proficient with hand and power tools Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints Strong math skills (fractions, field measurements) Valid driver's license Reliable truck or van You'll stand out if you have Experience with finish carpentry or architectural millwork Familiarity with Blum, Häfele, or similar hardware systems Background in luxury residential or commercial projects
