If your eager to grow your skill set, join our dynamic team as a Custom Closet and Cabinetry Shop assistant some prior experience required, you'll play a vital role in crafting custom closet solutions and cabinetry. This position offers an exciting opportunity long term to develop your skills in cabinet manufacturing and assembly building higher earnings. A fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with project managers to bring high-quality storage solutions to life, ensuring every detail aligns with client specifications and industry standards. Intermediate Level Duties & Requirements Assist our team in cabinet shelving manufacturing, assembly, of custom closet systems and home storage cabinetry using machinery, hand tools and power tools. Ability to measure accurately down to 1/32". Must have excellent math skills Experience using common shop machinery, tools, routers, table saws, miter saws, jig saws, drills, along with other shop related equipment Read and interpret CAD Designed shop drawings, to ensure precise fabrication Measure, cut, assemble 3/4" Melamine Laminate materials for various projects. Quality checks on your finished work to meet company standards and client expectations. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times are requirements Ability to clearly communicate and work well with our shop team On time daily 7:30-4:00pm. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE 32MM
line bore Custom Closet Systems, Garage Cabinetry, Media Centers, Wall Beds, Home Offices and Custom Built-In Manufacturing Knowledge of R.T.A (Ready To Assemble) systems and terminology Ability to measure, calculate and covert in metric and standard Experience working with CAD designed drawings to fabricate jobs Experience using an automatic Beam Saw, Vertical Panel Saw and Edgebander Proficient assembling and manufacturing drawers Knowledge of common cabinet hardware, fasteners, drawer slides, hinges, etc Ability to lift up to 50lbs safely and efficiently; physically capable. Problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail; adaptable to changing project needs.
