  • Full-time Cabinet Assembler, Installer & Finish Carpenter Position Summary Magnolia Cabinet Co.
is seeking an experienced and dependable Cabinet Assembler, Installer & Finish Carpenter to join our team. This position is responsible for assembling cabinetry and related components, installing cabinets and hardware in residential projects, performing finish carpentry tasks, loading and transporting materials, and ensuring a high-quality finished product for our clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, physically capable of handling cabinetry materials, and comfortable working in both warehouse and active construction environments. Key Responsibilities Assemble cabinetry, trim components, panels, and related millwork accurately and efficiently Install kitchen, bathroom, laundry, and custom cabinetry in residential homes Install cabinet hardware including handles, pulls, knobs, hinges, drawer slides, and specialty accessories Perform finish carpentry work including trim installation, crown molding, fillers, scribing, toe kicks, light rail, panels, and touch-up work Measure, cut, fit, and modify materials as needed for proper installation Read and interpret cabinet layouts, shop drawings, and installation plans Ensure cabinets are level, plumb, secure, and finished to company quality standards Load, unload, transport, and protect cabinetry and materials during delivery and installation Safely operate and drive company box trucks to and from jobsites and warehouses Maintain warehouse organization, material staging, and inventory handling as assigned Communicate professionally with supervisors, team members, subcontractors, and homeowners Maintain clean and organized jobsites, vehicles, and work areas Identify and report damages, shortages, or installation issues promptly Follow all company safety procedures and jobsite requirements Qualifications Minimum 3 years of cabinet assembly, installation, and/or finish carpentry experience preferred Strong finish carpentry and trim installation skills required Strong knowledge of cabinet hardware installation and adjustment Ability to use hand tools, power tools, saws, levels, and installation equipment safely and effectively Ability to read tape measures, plans, elevations, and installation drawings accurately Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Must be capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials on a regular basis Must be comfortable working in warehouse settings as well as occasional field environments Clean and professional appearance and attitude required Requirements Must be over 25 years of age Valid driver's license with clean driving record required Must be insurable to operate company vehicles Must be able to safely drive and maneuver a box truck Must pass pre-employment drug screening Ability to pass background screening and/or driving record review if required Physical Requirements Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of cabinets and materials Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work overhead for extended periods Ability to lift 50+ pounds consistently Schedule & Work Environment Full-time position Primarily warehouse-based with occasional field installation and delivery work at residential construction and remodeling projects Some local travel may be required for deliveries and installation assistance Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Company vehicle use during work hours
