Job Description
We're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Cabinetmaker to join our growing fabrication team. This is a hands-on shop position focused on building high-end custom cabinetry, built-ins, furniture, and architectural millwork to precise specifications. The ideal candidate has strong woodworking experience, understands how to read and execute shop drawings, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate, high-quality work. We're looking for someone who can work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of craftsmanship from fabrication through final assembly. Key Responsibilities Fabricate custom cabinetry, built-ins, and architectural millwork from shop drawings and specifications Read and accurately interpret shop drawings, plans, dimensions, and layouts Cut, machine, assemble, and prepare components using professional woodworking equipment Apply knowledge of wood species, sheet goods, joinery, hardware, and cabinet construction methods Operate CNC and other shop machinery as required Maintain accuracy, fit, and finish throughout the production process Troubleshoot fabrication issues and make adjustments when necessary Coordinate with project managers and other shop team members to keep projects moving on schedule Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow proper procedures for tools, machinery, and material handling Qualifications 2+ years of experience in cabinetmaking, custom woodworking, or architectural millwork Strong understanding of cabinet construction and woodworking techniques Ability to read and work from detailed shop drawings Comfortable operating woodworking machinery and hand tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Dependable, organized, and self-motivated Ability to work independently as well as part of a production team Strong problem-solving and communication skills Experience with CNC equipment and CAD/CAM software is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and perform hands-on fabrication work for extended periods Comfortable working in an active woodworking and manufacturing environment Why Join Us You'll have the opportunity to work on high-end custom cabinetry and architectural millwork projects in a professional shop that values craftsmanship, precision, and quality.
