Job Description

Who we are We are a local, family-owned custom cabinet shop and Mill work company that specializes in kitchen, bath and other areas as well as commercial cabinetry and mill work We're looking for a skilled, motivated Cabinet Builder, CNC Operator, Finisher, Edgbender, Asssembly, Shop Foreman to join our team in Hartwell GA If you're hungry, driven, and looking for a long-term career with leadership opportunities , this is the perfect role for you. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate and install cabinetry, fixtures, and millwork. Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently to produce precise wood components. Install cabinets, doors, siding, trim carpentry, fixtures, and other custom wood products on-site or in our shop. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.

Skills Proven experience in carpentry with a focus on cabinet installation, trim carpentry, framing, roofing, and siding. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate fabrication and installation. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders), CNC machines, and fabrication equipment.
Responsibilities:
Maintain Shop cleanliness and general upkeep. Removals, installations, pickups, and deliveries Always follow and enforce safety protocols Prepare cabinet components for finishing team, ensuring proper sanding and prep work Keep material inventory current and communicate supply needs proactively Maintain a clean and organized workspace/shop Work with build documents and basic drawings Use tools such as table saws, routers, edge banders, sanders, and other woodworking equipment
  • Must be organized, timely, and courteous.
  • Must maintain a professional appearance.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Work site visits will be required on occasion.
Knowledge of proper woodworking techniques, such as jointing, sawing, laminating, and drilling Mechanically inclined; ability to work with shop machinery and basic hand tools Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16th of an inch Ability to add and subtract fractions Communicates well with others; asks for and offers help when needed Detail oriented; meets quality standards and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness Organized; completes work in a timely manner; able to prioritize and meet deadlines Equal Opportunity Company is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices laws.
