Overview Join our dynamic team as a Custom Cabinet Builder and bring craftsmanship and precision to life! In this role, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality custom cabinets and fixtures tailored to client specifications, ensuring every piece meets our rigorous standards for durability and aesthetic appeal. Your expertise in woodworking, blueprint interpretation, and construction techniques will be essential in delivering exceptional results on time and within scope. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately build custom cabinets that align with client needs. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and efficiently to cut, shape, assemble, and finish cabinet components. Measure materials precisely, perform construction estimating tasks, and select appropriate wood construction materials for each project. Fabricate cabinet parts through framing, assembly, and finishing processes while adhering to safety standards such as power tool safety protocols. Install finished cabinets on-site with attention to alignment, stability, and aesthetic quality; handle fixture installation including doors, drawers, hardware, and trim. Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to ensure craftsmanship meets company standards; perform touch-ups as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace; manage heavy lifting tasks safely during material handling and installation phases. Experience Proven experience in construction blueprint reading, cabinetry, laminating, and woodworking on both residential and commercial/industrial projects. Strong background in trim carpentry, cabinetry, laminating highly desirable. Knowledge of woodworking techniques using hand tools and power tools for woodworking; experience operating woodworking machines is necessary Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately; experience in remodeling or restoration industry work is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during fabrication or installation processes; experience with fixture installation is beneficial.
