at Boise River Cabinets in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for consistent and professional cabinet installation in accordance with BRC specifications
Provide excellent customer service, ensure on-site quality control and maintain jobsite cleanliness at all times.
Immediately report production issues with detailed documentation to Cabinet Installation Lead in order to immediately correct deficiency before installation.
Proactively communicate installation timeline estimates to Cabinet Installation Lead in order to maintain efficient project installation scheduling.
Immediately communicate job site conditions and/or concerns that affect completion of projects to Cabinet Installation Lead.
Fill out and upload (to Basecamp) required cabinet installation paperwork (Green and Pink Sheets) upon completion of installation and/or bump to document and describe (in detail) any missing or sub-standard items, hardware or finishes. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED, Technical school, and/or college is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years working as an installer in a millwork or cabinet shop, recommended.
Possess excellent organization and multi-tasking skills; must demonstrate ability to manage several activities simultaneously, organize/prioritize work to meet internal and external deadlines

Able to remain calm and clear-headed
Able to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met
Must be able to manage time effectively
Must be attention to detail oriented Able to pass a background check
Must have a valid Idaho Driver's License
Must have a clean driving record
General knowledge of cabinet construction and manufacturing processes is required
General knowledge of plastic laminates, veneers and melamine
Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly articulate standards and expectations of subordinates
Skilled in building positive partnerships and working collaboratively with other trade partners
Promotion of teamwork, collaboration, and cooperation
Ability to read and comprehend architectural and shop drawings and technical specifications required
Basic computer skills with proficiency in Basecamp and Google Calendar
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Physical Demands
Frequent lifting from 5-40 lbs., unassisted (from 35-65% of the time)
Occasional lifting from 41 lbs.+, assisted (up to 50% of the time)
Access and mobility in tight spaces
Working at Heights - over 5 feet, periodically
Sustained periods of standing, sitting, walking, bending and kneeling Reviews/probationary period
Upon signature of this document, a 30-day probationary period will be initiated to ensure all job duties and responsibilities are understood and met. The purpose of this review is to address items that need further attention so corrections can be made.
Upon completion of 60 days of employment we will conduct a second review by the Shop Foreman and General Manager to determine the suitability of continued employment based on our core values and correction of any items from the 30-day review.
Personnel reviews will be conducted, at a minimum, one every 12 months to provide employee feedback regarding performance and promotion potential.
